Career Highlights: In just his second collegiate game, tied both a Tech and ACC record when four of his five hits versus Manhattan went for doubles ... Only two other players at Tech (Bryan Thomas, Feb. 21, 2005; Chad Pinder, Feb. 18, 2012) and eight ACC players total have accomplished the feat ... His four runs scored against William & Mary (March 10, 2020) are tied for the fifth most in a single game since Tech joined the ACC and one shy of the school record.

Record Book Notes: Has his name listed on five school records, including most chances in a single game and most putouts by a catcher in a single game, accomplished on March 8, 2020 at No. 29 Georgia Tech ... Also tied the school record for most assists in a single game by a catcher with six at Marshall (March 20, 2019) ... His single-season fielding percentage of 1.000 during the 2020 season (min. 100 chances) is tied for the best ever, while his career .998 is also the best ever (min. 400 chances).

2020: One of four Hokies to start all 16 games – nine at catcher, four as the designated hitter and three at first base … In majority of starts (15), batted third ... Led team in almost every offensive category and finished ranked in the NCAA in 13 categories ... During the season, had a team-best seven multi-hit games, including two with three and two with four - Bryant (Feb. 28) and William & Mary (March 10) … Added a team-high four multi-RBI games, including a career-high five against the Tribe ... Also led the team with five multi-run scoring games, scoring a career-high tying four times against the Tribe … Ended the season on a career-best six-game hitting streak, as he raised his batting average from .364 to .431 ... In fact, entered the Bryant series with a .308 batting average and raised it 123 points over the last nine games of the year ... Reached base in the last 12 games played ... 2019: Started 36 of the 37 games played for the Hokies – 21 at first, 14 as the catcher and one as the designated hitter … In majority of starts (29), batted in the three hole ... Missed the last month of the year due to injury … During the season, had 11 multi-hit games, including one game with three and one with five, versus Manhattan (Feb. 16) … Added four multi-RBI games, including one with three and six multi-run scoring games, including one with three and one with four, against Manhattan … Had a season-best six-game hitting streak and a reached base streak of nine straight games … For the year, had a .290 batting average with 40 hits, including nine doubles, a triple and two home runs for 57 total bases and a .413 slugging percentage … Scored 29 runs and knocked in 19 RBI … Drew 20 walks, including once intentionally, and was hit by three pitches for a .389 on-base percentage … Also added one sacrifice fly and a sacrifice hit … Scored two game-winning runs and had two game-winning RBI … Had one pinch-hit opportunity, and knocked in a run … Committed just one error in 329 chances for a .997 fielding percentage, while behind the plate, threw out a team-high five base stealers on 20 attempts.
