SEASON-LONG PROMOTIONS & OPPORTUNITIES

Pledge Per.
Fans may directly support Virginia Tech Softball by making a Pledge Per Home Run, Strikeout, and Win for the 2025 season! To make your pledge and for more information, click here.

Bingo at the Ballpark. At every midweek game, fans can pick up a bingo card at the Promotions Table for a chance to win a great Hokies prize. Limit one card per person.

Sandro's Slices for Softballs. Fans are asked to return all foul balls to the Promotions Table or a nearby event usher as part of Sandro's Slices for Softballs. Each foul ball returned earns the fan a coupon for a free slice of Sandro's cheese pizza. 

PMSI Fan of the Game. Sign up at every home game for your chance to win PMSI Fan of the Game and a Hokies prize pack! Winners are announced during every home game. 

What's in the Benny's Box. Fans can participate in a fun contest of What's in the Benny's Box? at every home game! Contests will vary in format and will award the winner a great Benny's prize pack. 

Promotions Booth & Lineups Board. The Promotions Booth is your one-stop shop for all promotions, giveaways, and team information. Stop by the northeast side of Tech Softball Park at every home game to pick up free goodies, participate in contests, and engage in free activities when available.  In addition, the starting lineups will be displayed on the Lineups Board along with additional helpful information for every home game. 


SERIES & SINGLE-GAME PROMOTIONS

Friday-Sunday, March 28-30 vs. Stanford
Swing into Spring Weekend. Celebrate the official start of spring at Tech Softball Park with the Hokies! 
   — Friday at 6 PM: Island Night. Fans can take a trip to the island during this Moana-inspired game with free flower crowns and leis at the Promotions Table while they last and island-themed fun throughout the evening. 
          In-Venue Host Bailey Angle. Join us at Tech Softball Park for fun, interactive games, contests, and promotions throughout Friday's game with In-Venue Host Bailey Angle. 
   — Saturday at 4 PM: Sunglasses Giveaway. Fans can pick up a free pair of Hokies island-themed sunglasses at the Promotions Table while they last, starting at 3 PM. 
   — Sunday at 12 PM: Art at the Park. Enjoy the spring by exercising your creative muscles in a day of art at Tech Softball Park! 
          Tie Dye Station. Bring your own item or pick up a free white t-shirt to tie dye at the game with our tie dye kits. 
          Face Painter. Stop by the face painting booth to get ready for gameday with a custom design. 
          Poster-Making Station. Design your very own 11x17" poster for the game at our station complete with markers, crayons, and other arts and crafts! 
Alumni Weekend. Join us as we welcome back former Hokies to Tech Softball Park! Arrive early on Saturday as we recognize our alumni and welcome back Keely Rochard Sudberry to throw out the first pitch. Fans are encouraged to arrive by 3:45 PM for the pregame festivities on Saturday.

Wednesday, April 2 vs. Liberty at 6 PM
Rec Sports Night. Calling all Rec Sports folks! This night is your night. Join us as we celebrate club teams, intramurals, exercise options, and more.
    Pizza Giveaway. 
Virginia Tech students may pick up a free slice of pizza at the Promotions Booth starting at 5 PM while it lasts.
Bingo at the Ballpark.
At every midweek game, fans can pick up a bingo card at the Promotions Table for a chance to win a great Hokies prize. Limit one card per person.

Tuesday, April 8 vs. Charlotte at 6 PM
Carnival Night. Get ready for the show! Fans are invited to Tech Softball Park for a carnival-themed adventure with games, entertainment, and more.
    Ringo the Patrol Pony. Fans may meet campus favorite Ringo the Patrol Pony and Residence Life Resource Officer Cpl. John Tarter on the concourse before the game! Learn more about Ringo and his work across campus here.
    Corndog Giveaway. Early-arriving fans may pick up a free corndog at the Promotions Booth starting at 5 PM while they last. One per person.
    Balloon Artist. Get geared up to cheer on the Hokies with a free custom balloon twisted by our Balloon Artist before the game!
Bingo at the Ballpark. At every midweek game, fans can pick up a bingo card at the Promotions Table for a chance to win a great Hokies prize. Limit one card per person.
    Prize Wheel. While fans usually get a pick of their prize when they win Bingo, we're taking a unique spin on Carnival Night and letting the Prize Wheel determine what you win! 

Friday-Sunday, April 11-13 vs. Notre Dame
Hokie Hi: Weekend at Home. You'll want to be in Blacksburg for this action-packed weekend at home with the Hokies! 
   — Friday at 6 PM: Military Appreciation Night. Join the Hokies in appreciating those who will serve, are serving, and have served in our military. 
          Military Appreciation Koozie Giveaway. Pick up a special themed koozie at the Promotions Table while they last, starting at 5 PM. 
   — Saturday at 2 PM: Orange Effect. Fans are encouraged to wear orange to the game! In collaboration with the Undergrad Student Senate, official Orange Effect shirts are available for purchase here, with portions of the proceeds benefitting the student organization. 
          Orange Shakers Giveaway. Be sure to grab a free orange metallic shaker on your way into the game at the Promotions Table while they last, starting at 1 PM. 
          Sunny D Giveaway. Early-arriving fans may embrace the Orange Effect with a zesty bottle of Sunny D. One per person at the Promotions Booth starting at 1 PM while supplies last.
          Inflatable Couch. Fans may take photos on our Inflatable Virginia Tech Couch before the game! 
          Face Painter. Show your gameday spirit with a free custom face paint design before the game.
   — Sunday at 6 PM: Cerebral Palsy Awareness Night. Help the Hokies raise awareness for those affected by cerebral palsy and increase education in our community. 
          Green Wristband Giveaway. Pick up a free green wristband at the Promotions Table while supplies last to show your support for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Night. 

Friday-Sunday, May 2-4 vs. Florida State
Curtain Call at TSP. For the final regular season home series, fans can dive into the world of theatre and film throughout the weekend, with a special emphasis on our seniors and a free playbill giveaway all weekend. 
   — Friday at TBA: Defying Gravity Night. Hokie fans are invited to celebrate the 2024 release of Wicked with an evening all about Glinda and Elphaba. 
   — Saturday at 4 PM: Senior Spotlight. Join us for an evening all about our seniors! Be sure to stick around for the postgame ceremony at TSP. 
          Seniors Movie Poster Giveaway. Fans may pick up a free Seniors Movie Poster at the Promotions Table while they last, starting at 3 PM. 
          Spotify Wrapped: Seniors Edition. Tune in to the team's social media accounts for a release of the seniors' playlist, loaded with all their favorite songs leading into the series.
          540 Social: Axe Throwing. Fans may test their skills at the interactive Axe Throwing station during pregame with 540 Social!
   — Sunday at 4 PM: The Fourth & Final Act. Close out the series by joining us on May the 4th for an evening about Star Wars. 


GAMEDAY INFORMATION

Gameday.
All regular season softball games are played at Tech Softball Park (240 Beamer Way) and are free to attend. Promotions and in-venue elements begin 90 minutes prior to game time and seating is general admission for all regular season home games. Additionally, Virginia Tech's clear bag policy is in place for all home games at Tech Softball Park. Please visit HokieSports.com/ClearBag for complete details.

Parking. The nearest parking lots to Tech Softball Park available to fans are Lot 2 (Stadium Lot) and Lot 5 (Chicken Hill Lot). Fans parking in these lots Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 10 PM, must heed campus parking signage and policies as well as pay to park using the university's ParkMobile platform. Concessions. Concessions are sold at every home softball game inside the Rector Fieldhouse and around the concourse of TSP. All concessions sales at softball games are cashless, requiring a debit or credit card for purchase. Apple Pay and Google Pay may also be used. Concessions will include menu options at fan-friendly prices again for the 2025 season and will feature specialty items such as the new patty melt and waffle fries options at the Grilled Cheese Food Truck and the souvenir bat with fountain soda for $10. Additional specialty options at Dippin' Dots and Snack Shack locations will be available for select games. Alcohol sales at Tech Softball Park will end at the end of the 5th inning of the last game of the day.

Sportsmanship Policy. The ACC and Virginia Tech promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racist, or sexist comments, or any other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, team representatives, or other spectators will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from Tech Softball Park. Also, consumption or possession of tobacco products is prohibited. Thank you for your help in making each home softball game a positive experience for all participants and attendees.
