BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech wide receivers Da'Quan Felton, Ali Jennings and Jaylin Lane have been named to the 2023 Reese's Senior Bowl watch list along with linebacker Alan Tisdale, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
Felton (6-5, 207) led Norfolk State with 39 receptions for 573 receiving yards last season. The Portsmouth, Virginia product scored seven touchdowns for the Spartans in 2022, tied for sixth in the MEAC.
Jennings (6-2, 198) led Old Dominion with 54 receptions for 959 yards and nine touchdowns during the 2022 season. His 106.6 receiving yards per game ranked third in the country.
The Richmond, Virginia native also registered five 100-yard receiving games and was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team. Earlier this summer, Jennings was named to the Athlon Sports preseason All-ACC first-team.
Lane (5-10, 180) tallied 69 receptions for 940 yards and five touchdowns last season at Middle Tennessee State. He led the team with four 100-yard receiving games and was named Honorable Mention All-Conference USA.
The Clover, South Carolina product was also named to the Paul Hornung Award watch list, which recognizes the nation's most versatile player.
Both Jennings and Lane are on the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award which honors the nation's top receiver.
Tisdale (6-3, 232) started five games in 2022, recording 36 tackles (12 solo), including one sack and one quarterback hurry. The redshirt senior from Greensboro, N.C. has played in 40 career games, making 23 starts with 231 career tackles.
The Reese's Senior Bowl is the nation's most prestigious college all-star game, as it annually serves as the first step of the NFL Draft process. The 2023 edition of the game produced 100 total picks for the third straight year, representing 40 percent of the entire NFL draft, including 40 selected on the first two days.
This year's Reese's Senior Bowl will be held on Feb. 3, 2024 at South Alabama's Hancock Whitney Stadium and air on the NFL Network.
