BLACKSBURG – The No. 12 Hokie men are championship bound with 10 Hokies that qualified for events and two Hokies selected as relay alternates for the 2023 Men's NCAA Championships, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
The men selected include Carles Coll Marti (100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM), Luis Dominguez (200 free), Nico Garcia Saiz (200 back, 400 IM), Landon Gentry (200 fly), Mario Molla Yanes (100 fly), Keith Myburgh (400 IM), AJ Pouch (200 breast), Youssef Ramadan (50 free, 100 free, 100 fly), Jacob Fisher (1-meter, 3-meter, platform) and Noah Zawadzki (1-meter, 3-meter, platform). William Hayon and Forest Webb will travel with the team as relay alternates.
Last year, Coll Marti, Dominguez, Molla Yanes, Pouch, Ramadan, Webb and Zawadzki competed at the championships. The Hokie men finished 11th overall with 143 total points, earning the most points in Hokie history and tying their best ever finish in school history. The Virginia Tech men came home with four All-American honors, 11 All-American honorable mentions and eight school records.
