Hokie men defeat the Cavaliers

VT v. UVA Final Results

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia Tech men beat UVA for the eighth time in program history, winning 162-138. The women put up a strong fight but fell short, 91-207.

HEAD COACH SERGIO LOPEZ MIRO

"I'm really happy with the way we swam today. We raced very well against a top team in the nation and both of our teams did an excellent job. The women swam against such a fast and competitive team and I'm proud of the work they put in. This is my first time beating UVA in Charlottesville, so that's very exciting and I'm proud of the men for their performance as well. We worked very hard this week and I'm happy with how we swam. Now we're looking forward to ACC's in February."
