BLACKSBURG -- The Virginia Tech women's basketball team (17-6, 9-3) returns to the court on Thursday evening when they take on No. 11 Georgia Tech (18-5, 9-3).
The Hokies defeated Clemson 73-42 Tuesday night behind 23 points and 5 rebounds from guard Aisha Sheppard. Azana Baines also poured in a career-high 20 points and seven rebounds.
The Hokies held the Tigers to only 27.6 percent shooting from the field including 15 percent from beyond the arc.
