HEAD COACH SERGIO LOPEZ MIRO
"I am very happy for the program, for the alumni, for everybody. Our guys came in and finished 11th, the last finish we had was 35th. 55-points was the highest before and we scored 135 points. We had a couple of rough scessions, but today was great for us. We performed and came out with a purpose and it showed.

I am very proud of the kids, coaching staff, support staff and trainers. They have done an amazing job of keeping our program together. I am thankful that I got the opportunity to come to Virginia Tech three years ago and that our staff and university believes we can be at the top. We just need to take steps forward and create sustainable success."
