Marchetti joined the men's tennis staff in Sept. of 2023.
A 2009 inductee of the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame, Marchetti had a historic career for the Hokies, leading Tech to four Atlantic 10 conference titles and garnering Atlantic 10 Player of the Year honors from 1997 to 1999. After Marchetti finished at No. 15 in the ITA Rankings in 1999, he became one of two Hokies at the time to earn ITA All-American honors.
Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Marchetti served as the Director of Player Development and Coaching at Edmond Center Court. Two (clients), Brooklyn Olson and Bradley Frye, claimed USTA national titles while being coached by Marchetti.
