INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second-consecutive season, Jordan Chrysostom and Ryan Fishback will compete in the NCAA Men's Tennis Doubles Championship.
Chrysostom and Fishback were originally named the No. 1 alternates for the NCAA Championship on May 3, but have been selected due to another team being unable to compete.
The two have spent most of the season ranked in the top 35, reaching as high as No. 9 in the March 9 ITA Rankings. Playing on Court 1, the pair went 5-2 against ranked opponents, including a 6-3 result over the No. 4 duo of Brian Cernoch and Mac Kiger (North Carolina).
With their selection, Chrysostom and Fishback become the second doubles pair in Virginia Tech men's tennis history to make multiple appearances in the NCAA Men's Tennis Doubles Championship. Aaron and Adam Marchetti earned bids in the 1998 and 1999 seasons.
