Hokie Club2018-19 (sophomore): Competed in singles and doubles at the Bedford Cup Mid-Atlantic, Big 5 Challenge, and Hokie Fall Invitational… Also played in the Kentucky Invite.
2017-18 (freshman): Saw limited competition as a freshman, competing at two tournaments in the fall including the Bedford Cup Mid-Atlantic and the ITA Atlantic Regional.
Prior to Virginia Tech: Maryland’s No. 14 tennis recruit by TennisRecruiting.net... A three-time MVP at the Academy of Holy Cross... Held a high school singles record of 41-3.... Won the Washington Catholic League, individually and as a team junior season... Was been a four-time doubles champion in the state of Maryland as well as a two-time mixed doubles champion.
Personal: Daughter of Joseph and Cynthia Mesmer... Sister of Freddy Mesmer, a member of the men’s tennis team at Virginia Tech... Currently enrolled in university studies.
