Career Highlights: Enters the 2020 season with the team’s longest consecutive starts streak at 39 straight … In 2019, became the first Hokie to register a multi-assist game since Aug. 28, 2016 (Lilly Weber versus James Madison) with her two in the season-opener against Liberty (8/22) … McCarter (3g, 4a) joined teammate Molly Feighan and became the first Hokies since Ashley Meier (6g, 5a, 2015) to tally at least three goals and three assists in a single season ... Her game-winning goal at Pittsburgh (10/31/19), scored 6:20 into the contest, is Tech’s fastest goal against ACC competition since Candace Cephers (5:55) vs. Miami (10/17/15); and on the road – Ashley Meier (5:54) at NC State (9/26/13).

2020-21: Started in 14 of the 15 games she played ... Logged 1,182 minutes, five times playing the full 90 ... Totaled four points (one goal and two assists).

2019: One of five Hokies to start all 19 matches during the season and played 1,387 total minutes … In the team’s fourth match of the year versus Auburn (9/1), scored her first collegiate goal, the team’s first in a 3-1 win … Also scored goals against Alabama (9/5) and her first game winner in a 1-0 win at Pitt (10/31) … Tied for the team-lead with four assists, including tallying two in the team’s first match of the year against Liberty (8/22), as three of them resulted in game-winning goals – Liberty, Auburn and Yale (9/8) … Also tied for second in points with 10, and was third in shots (24) and shots on goal (12) … Was one of eight Hokies to tally a game winner during the year, the most since the 2013 season.

2018: Appeared in all 22 matches, with 20 starts … Made collegiate debut in season opener versus San Diego (8/17) … Started the last 20 straight matches, which began with the contest against UNCW (8/24) … Played 1,332 minutes during the season … Took 19 shots in total, nine were on net … Registered first collegiate point with an assist on the insurance goal in a 2-0 win at Miami (9/23) … Was second on the team with 30 corner kick attempts.

Club : Played for three seasons under coach Tomasz Kluszczynski for the South Carolina United FC ... The first season was in the Region 3 Premier League, her second season in the National League, and her most recent season in the ECNL ... In both the National and ECNL seasons, the team was the first to represent the club in both leagues ... The team also ranked No. 1 nationally during a portion of the 2016 season as the squad was a three-time state champion as well as a finalist in the 2016 Southern Regionals.

High School: Played for Brain Garvin and Kimberly Cohn as a forward for the Trojans, earning letters and was the team’s captain during her senior season ... In her career, scored 105 goals, while setting a school record for most goals scored in a single season with 38 goals as a freshman ... Recipient of the Golden Boot freshman through junior year ... Was named to the all-region and all-state teams in 2017 and was a NCSAA Girls High School All-Atlantic Region ... As a senior, was named the Region VII Player of the Year.
