Julie Kuhlman, MAEd, LAT, ATC

Job responsibilities: Julie coordinates all sports medicine needs for the Virginia Tech Women's Soccer Team and oversees the Graduate Assistant working with the Spirit Squads. 

Joined VT Athletics Staff: 2016

At Virginia Tech: Along with sports medicine responsibilities, Julie is a lecturer for the Advanced Athletic Injuries course in the Department of Human Nutrition, Food, and Sciences at Virginia Tech.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Julie attended Towson University for her bachelor’s degree where she graduated in 2016. While in undergrad, she was a member of the NATA, MAATA, and MATA. She also served as the President of Towson University’s Athletic Training Club and was a Student Senator within the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Of Note: Julie has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 2016.  She is a licensed athletic trainer by the Virginia Board of Health Professions.

Personal:  Julie is from Severna Park, Maryland and now resides in Blacksburg.
