Responsibilities: Kehoe serves as the media contact for the women's basketball and men’s soccer programs.
In her role, she is responsible for press releases, game notes, roster maintenance, statistics, and answering media requests related to his assigned teams in addition to helping the grow the social media channels of her respective sports.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Jordan Kehoe joins the Virginia Tech staff after three years at UC Irvine, where she served as a Media Relations Assistant and primary contact for men’s basketball, men’s and women’s water polo, and women’s tennis. During her time with the Anteaters, she worked with championship-caliber programs that combined for three National Invitation Tournament (NIT) appearances, including a runner-up finish in 2025, two NCAA Tournament appearances, and six Big West titles (two tournament and four regular-season championships) across her assigned sports.
Kehoe played a key role in elevating communications for her programs, enhancing both media and fan engagement. She redesigned game notes packages, created the men’s water polo record book, and contributed research and content development to expand and improve additional materials for record books across her sports.
In partnership with the digital marketing team, she helped plan and execute social media strategy, including oversight of the men’s basketball accounts. Over three years, her efforts contributed to significant growth across platforms, including increases in impressions (98.6%), engagement (26.8%), net audience growth (23%), and total audience (19.3%). From August 2024 through June 30, 2025, the accounts generated nearly nine million impressions.
Kehoe also supported and promoted numerous individual and team accolades, including eight All-Big West selections in men’s basketball, highlighted by the Big West Defensive Player of the Year (2024) and Freshman of the Year (2025). In men’s water polo, she helped promote a Newcomer of the Year (2022), four All-Americans, and 10 All-Conference selections. In women’s water polo, she supported coverage of a Freshman of the Year (2024), Coach of the Year (2023), six All-Americans, and 12 All-Conference honorees, while women’s tennis produced two All-Conference singles selections and two All-Conference doubles selections during her tenure.
Among her most notable projects, Kehoe led Paris Olympics social media and website coverage in summer 2024, highlighting four former student-athletes and coaches, including the first Olympian in program history for women’s water polo. In August 2023, she served as a key media contact for UC Irvine men’s basketball during its undefeated 8-0 championship run at the 42nd William Jones Cup in Taiwan, contributing blog coverage, photography, and in-game social media along with her traditional media responsibilities. The team became the first United States squad to medal at the event since 2012 (bronze), and the first American team to win gold since 2006, as well as the first collegiate team from the United States to capture gold in 40 years (1983).
Prior to UC Irvine, Kehoe spent one year at George Mason University as a Communications Assistant, serving as primary contact for women’s soccer, men’s volleyball, and softball, with secondary responsibilities for men’s and women’s basketball. There, she led social media strategy and content creation across her sports, helping drive a 38 percent combined growth across softball platforms in just nine months, including an over 50 percent increase on Instagram. She also helped the softball account reach 15,000 followers on Twitter, the highest of any George Mason Athletics account at the time.
At George Mason, she also improved communications infrastructure over her assigned sports by creating softball game notes and developing a women’s soccer template to enhance broadcast coverage. In May 2022, she served as the media relations contact for the Atlantic 10 Conference Softball Championship.
Kehoe began her career at Roanoke College, where she served as a sports information student assistant (2017-20) and later as a sports information intern (2020). She was the primary media contact for men’s and women’s tennis, led the Division III Week social media campaign during the COVID shutdown, and supported website management and game day operations across multiple sports.
