2008 Outdoor: Won the ACC shot put for the fourth straight time, with a toss of 51-07.75 … Achieved All-America honors in the hammer throw by finishing seventh at the NCAA Championships, with a personal-best of 208’1 … Qualified for the national meet in the hammer throw and the shot put … Took third place in the NCAA East Regional’s shot put with a throw of 52-01.75 … Placed fourth in the hammer throw at the ACC Championships, tossing the implement 196-09 … Won the hammer throw at the Sea Ray Relays and the Liberty Twilight … Captured the discus throw title at the Duke Invitational.

2008 Indoor: Named ACC Field Performer of the Year after sweeping the throws events at the ACC Championships, winning the shot put with a throw of 54-09.75, while breaking her own school record, and capturing the weight throw with a toss of 65-11.50 … Earned All-America honors in the shot put by placing seventh at the NCAA Championships with a toss of 54-07.25 … Qualified for the national meet in the shot put and weight throw … Won the weight throw at three meets this season, and the shot put once.

2007 Outdoor: Earned All-America honors by finishing ninth in the shot put at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 16.19m (53’1.5”) … NCAA East Regional shot put champion with a mark of 16.65m (54’7”) … ACC shot put champion with 16.76m (55’0”) and placed fourth in the hammer throw with a throw of 55.85 (183’3”) … Became first-ever Hokie woman to win ACC Track & Field Performer of the Week honors (March 27) after setting the then-school discus record (50.41m, 165’5”) and finishing second in the shot put (16.34m, 53’7.5”) at the Wake Forest Relays … Finished as the top collegiate and second overall at the UNC Elite Meet by setting the school record in the shot put (16.83m, 55’2.75”) … Took second place in the discus at the Highlander Challenge (49.74m, 162’2”) … Earned first place at the Weems Baskin Invitational (16.51m, 54’2.25”).

2007 Indoor: Took seventh place in the shot put at the NCAA Championships with a 16.33m (53’7.75”) mark to earn All-American status… Won the ACC shot put championship and earned all-conference honors with a 15.70m (51’6.5”) mark at the conference meet … Finished fourth in the weight throw at the conference meet, throwing a personal-best of 19.57m (64’2.5”) … Won event title at the Sykes-Sabok Challenge Cup with a shot put of 16.52m (54’2.5”) … Also finished third in the weight throw at the same meet (19.08m, 62’7.25”) … Tossed a 16.27m (53’4.5”) shot put for first place at the Liberty On Track Open … Was the weight throw runner-up with 18.45m (60’6.5”) at the same meet.

Prior to Tech: Redshirted in 2006 … As a freshman at Syracuse in 2005, finished fourth at the BIG EAST Conference Indoor Championship in the shot put with a toss of 14.57m (47’9.75”) … Took third at the ECAC Championship in the shot put with 14.63m (48’) … Won the discus with 50.42m (165’5”) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship and finished second in the shot put with 14.89m (48’10.25”) and hammer throw with 53.84m (176’8”) … Named Most Outstanding Field Performer at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship … Finished second in the shot put with a throw of 15.12m (49’7.25”), third in the discus throw with 46.42m (152’3”) and fifth in the hammer throw with 53.38m (175’1”) at the ECAC Championship … Placed 25th at the NCAA Championships in the discus, with a throw of 45.88m (150’6”).
