Lake City Community College: Transferred from Simon Fraser University in Canada, where she attended for a year, but did not play softball … Played one season at Lake City Community College in Florida for Coach Donna Howard … Played in 51 games, picking up 64 hits for a .379 batting average … Had eight doubles, four triples, 14 home runs and 30 RBI … Scored 45 runs and was 14-for-16 on stolen bases … Earned first-team all-conference and second-team all-state honors … Her first two hits at the Florida NJCAA state tournament were home runs in consecutive at bats.
High School: Attended Lord Tweedsmoir Secondary … A member of the Canadian Junior National Team which competed at the World Championships in Enschede, Netherlands in the summer of 2007 … Was the leadoff batter for the Canadians, hitting .353 with two doubles, a triple and two runs scored … Also played in the Pan-American Qualifier … Lettered three times in volleyball, earning MVP honors twice … Also played soccer … Played travel ball for the White Rock Renegades for eight seasons … Earned top batter in Canada at Nationals, as well as an all-star right fielder in 2004 … Team won a gold medal at Provincials in both 2005 and 2006, earning a silver medal at Nationals in 2005.
