Thompson on Larregola: Albert came to us last season in January and not only contributed on the courts but in the classroom. This is not easy to do in your first semester and I believe now that he has an understanding of our system, he will be even better this year. He has worked hard all summer to improve his National Ranking in Spain and I am very confident that Albert will make a big contribution to the teams success this year.Fall 2005: Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Northeast Regional ... Made Round of 16 at both Rice/Crown Plaza Invitationa and ITA Northeast Regional with Nicolas Delgado ... Had a 4-4 singles record and was 4-3 in doubles.
Junior Tennis/High School: Currently holds No. 15 adult ranking in Spain ... Ranked No. 7 in 2002 Europe Under-16 singles ... 2002 Under-16 doubles champion in Spain ... Finalist at a 2002 Belgium Under-16 International tournament and advanced to the semifinals in 2002 at International Under-16 event in Belgium and France.
