2019: Started all 19 games and … Led the ACC in saves, with 68… Recorded four shutouts this season in the games versus; Grand Canyon, Gardner Webb, Clemson and in the first round of the ACC Tournament against Louisville. 

2018: Started all 21 of the Hokies' contests and played every minute of the season ... Led the ACC in saves, with 95 ... Recorded five shutouts in his first season in Blacksburg in the games versus; Charlotte, William & Mary, Syracuse, UNCG and USF ... Made his debut for the Hokies at the JMU Invitational, helping Tech to a pair of victories ... Recorded his first career shutout in a 1-0 win over USF, making four saves.

Prior to Tech: Swaneveld spent his youth career playing for Excelsior Rotterdam and most recently Sparta Rotterdam where he frequently trained with the club's first team. 

Personal: Born on August 2 to parents Ronald Swaneveld and Sabrine Swaneveld-Vonk ... Has a younger sibling Jitske ... Plans to major in economics and pursue a career in professional soccer.
