Prior to Tech: Eythorsson spent two years playing in the midfield for the Icelandic club Fylkir under coaches Atli Sveinn Þórarinsson and Ólafur Stígsson ... In 2019 he led his team to an eighth-place finish in Iceland’s premier league ... Prior to moving up he also played 14 years for Fylkir’s youth team, wining a U-16 USA CUP Gold Championship in 2016 and an Icelandic Cup in 2017.
 
Personal: Born May 17 … Son of Eythor and Elin … Has two brothers, Asgeir and Sigurjon and one sister, Auour … His eldest brother Asgeir played over 200 games for Fylkir and played for the U-21 Icelandic National Team.
