Hokie ClubPrior to Virginia Tech: Played one year at Pitt… appeared in 14 games for the Panthers, scoring two goals… Also picked up 13 ground balls and caused six turnovers.
High School: Attended Notre Dame Preparatory School, where she helped the team to a semi-final appearance in the IAAM A playoffs, as well as a championship medal in the Sandstorm Lacrosse Tournament… Was a recipient of All Conference A honors and was MVP in her junior year… Led the program in draw controls… Captained the team her junior and senior years… Played club lacrosse for Hero’s Lacrosse Green.
Personal: Daughter of Sarah and Fred Kawa… Has an older sister, Regan, who played lacrosse at Dickinson… Dad, Fred, played lacrosse at RIT.
