CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ten Virginia Tech men's soccer student-athletes landed on the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team as announced by the conference Thursday afternoon.
The senior class made up five of the honorees while three juniors and two sophomores rounded out the Hokies’ selections.
The Hokies recognized on the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team are:
- Yanis Belatrache, junior midfielder (Math)
- Ugo Bertelli, junior midfielder (Religion and Culture)
- Sam Joseph, senior goalkeeper (Sociology)
- Harrison Krieg, senior defender (Industrial Systems Engineering)
- Ian Marcano, sophomore midfielder (Finance)
- Alex Perez, sophomore midfielder (Sports Media and Analytics)
- Declan Quill, senior forward (Biology)
- Evan Schroeder, senior defender (Philosophy, Politics, Economy)
- Andy Sullins, senior forward (Finance)
- Noe Uwimana, junior defender (Finance)
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0-grade point average for the previous two semesters and 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career, while being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and being classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s athletic contests.
