EARLYSVILLE, Va. – The Virginia Tech cross country teams each earned runner-up finishes Friday morning at the Panorama Farms Invitational in Earlysville, Virginia.
Women’s 6K
The women’s team secured second place, led by Katie Bohlke, who placed second overall with a time of 20:02.6. Freshman Jule Lindner impressed in her collegiate debut, finishing seventh in 20:31.0. Lila Waters was the third Hokie to cross the line, placing 15th in 20:52.6.
Kylie Bonser (21:04.1) took 19th, followed by Elizabeth Coe (21:30.0) in 31st, Sophia Holgado (21:39.3) in 38th, and Kenza Elakari (21:41.4) in 40th.
Men’s 8K
On the men’s side, George Couttie led the Hokies with a second-place finish in 23:10.4. He was followed by Nicholas Kipchirchir, who took third in 23:17.6. Declan Rymer rounded out Tech’s top three in 12th place at 23:49.2.
Garrett Winter (24:02.2) and Linus Chepkochei (24:05.6) placed 18th and 19th, respectively. Ethan Coleman(24:09.9) and Cameron Davis (24:15.4) were 23rd and 27th.
UP NEXT
The Hokies open postseason competition at the ACC Cross Country Championships on Oct. 31 in Louisville, Kentucky. The women’s 6K begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the men’s 8K at 10:30 a.m. Both races will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX).
