BLACKSBURG – As tipoff draws closer and Hokie Nation's anticipation about returning to Cassell Coliseum ramps up, game promotions and theme days have been announced for the Virginia Tech men's basketball team's upcoming 2025-26 campaign.
The Hokies will enter the season brimming with talent, returning standouts Tobi Lawal, Ben Hammond, Jaden Schutt and Tyler Johnson, while adding five-star recruit Neoklis Avdalas to the mix.
Fans can expect plenty of excitement from this year’s lineup of unforgettable promotions and fan experience elements. The schedule features themed games like Military Appreciation, Hokies in the Fast Lane, Hokies Family Day, Paint & Pancakes, Youth Sports Night and more. Talented halftime performers set to appear include High Performance Canines, Red Panda, Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act, the Spyros Bros and Jessica Haas to name a few.
Also planned for this season are game-by-game concession specials, including chicken tenders and Dairy Club milkshakes.
In addition, fans are encouraged to participate in color-outs throughout the season, including the USS Maroon Effect against Duke and the USS Orange Effect vs. Wake Forest. View the full slate of promotions here.
