CHARLOTTE – Twelve Hokies have been named to the ACC All-Academic Team, the league announced on Thursday.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests and 20 percent of their team’s contests as a pitcher. 

Aldridge started 40 games for the Hokies, primarily as the designated player. She hit .368 on the year with 46 hits, seven home runs and a 1.040 OPS. She was also a Second Team All-ACC selection and garnered NFCA Mid-Atlantic Third Team honors.

Blackwell recorded 27 starts over 43 appearances and hit .270. The sophomore was part of just the second triple play ever in program history as she made the first out with a diving catch in left field against then-No. 16 Stanford (March 29).

Chatfield, a First Team All-ACC and NFCA Mid-Atlantic First Team selection, was huge for the Hokies all season. Starting primarily at first base, Chatfield finished second on the team with a .386 batting average and 15 home runs. She was one of three Hokies to record 50 or more RBIs this year (51) and finished the 2025 campaign with a 1.217 OPS.

Grizzard posted a 3.15 ERA with a 2-0 record over 17 appearances. Over 91 batters faced, Grizzard held opponents to a .198 batting average with 25 strikeouts. She was part of six combined shutouts for the Hokies.

Kleiman made her mark in her first year in Blacksburg. She finished the year at 12-2 with a 2.45 ERA over 71.1 innings pitched. Kleiman recorded 66 strikeouts and held opponents to a .286 batting average.

LeGette made 31 appearances with 28 starts during the 2025 season. Primarily as a designated player, she hit .328 on the season with 22 hits, 15 RBIs and four home runs. She also posted a .567 slugging percentage.

Lemley’s historic senior season saw her go 18-8 in the circle with a 2.65 ERA. The Third Team All-ACC selection recorded four no-hitters during the 2025 season – tied for the most among Division I players. She was a three-time ACC Pitcher of the Week and delivered a shutout performance against North Carolina in the ACC Quarterfinals.

Lynch, an NFCA Top 25 Freshman of the Year Finalist, finished third on the team with a .381 batting average. Starting primarily at third base all season, Lynch was one of four Hokies to hit 10 home runs. She delivered 43 RBIs throughout the year and was one of three Hokies to start all 56 games.

Martin posted a .259 batting average in 24 starts. She hit a career-high five home runs in her last season as a Hokie and also posted a .471 slugging percentage. Martin finished the year with 15 RBIs.

Mazzarone was a staple in the circle and at the plate for the Hokies. She finished the year with an 11-3 record and a 3.32 ERA along with 95 strikeouts. The Third Team All-ACC selection also hit .209 at the plate with four home runs and 10 RBIs.

McMillan had the best single season in program history as she finished with a nation-leading 31 home runs and 0.55 home runs per game. The ACC Player of the Year and NFCA First Team All-American led the Hokies with a .432 batting average, 1.067 slugging percentage, a .549 on-base percentage, 73 hits, 65 RBIs and 15 steals.

Rohs was lights out at shortstop for the Hokies all season long. She posted a .966 fielding percentage on the season and aided in eight double plays for the Hokies over 53 starts. At the plate, she hit .214 with nine RBIs.
