BLACKSBURG - Director of track & field and cross country, Ben Thomas, has annouced the 2025 Virginia Tech cross country schedule.
The Hokies will compete in seven meets, with three at the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course on Virginia Tech's campus.
Notable returners for the squad are George Couttie, who captured the win at the 2024 NCAA Southeast Regional and finished 14th overall at the NCAA Championships for Virginia Tech's first cross country All-American honor since 2019, Nicholas Kipchirchir, who broke both the 6k and 8k Buford Meredith Course records in the 2024 season, and Declan Rymer, who helped the Hokies to a 26th place national finish.

Nov. 7 - Hokie Open, Blacksburg, Va. (alumni 5k at 3:00 p.m., men's 6k at 4:00 p.m., women's 5k at 5:45 p.m.)
Nov. 14 - NCAA Southeast Regional, Charlottesville, Va. (women's 6k, men's 10k)
Nov. 22 - NCAA Cross Country Championships, Columbia, Mo. (women's 6k, men's 10k)
