BLACKSBURG - The Hokies (7-11, 1-7 ACC) fell to Duke (8-11, 4-4 ACC) in three sets (19-25, 23-25, 16-25) on Friday night.

GAME NOTES

  • Jasmine Robinson totaled six blocks, one solo and five assists, for the second consecutive match.  The middle blocker also recorded six kills and one ace.
  • Hailey Pearce led the offense with 12 kills and nine digs with one block and one ace.
  • Sarah Malinowski collected her fourth match of the season with double-digit kills, posting 11 with two blocks.
  • Viktoria Wahlgren totaled 29 assists with nine digs and two block assists.
  • Belle Patrick recorded eight kills with two blocks assists and two digs.  
  • Sierra Cates saw 13 receptions and recorded a 3.0 serve-recieve.  
  • Tech totaled 38 kills, 37 assists, 34 digs, 15 total blocks and three aces.

UP NEXT

The Hokies hit the road and head north to Boston College on Friday at 1 p.m. and Syracuse on Sunday at 1 p.m.
