Butler and Lincoln IV named ACC Track Performers of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Virginia Tech's Judson Lincoln IV and Lindsey Butler were named ACC Men's and Women's Track Performers of the Week, announced the conference on Tuesday. 

Butler broke the indoor 1000m school record on Friday, Jan. 19 clocking in second at the Hokie Invitational with time of 2:41.00. Butler's time is tied for seventh on the USTFCCCA's all-time performers list. She now holds the school records in the indoor 800m (2:01.23) 1000m (2:41.00) and mile (4:31.41). 

Lincoln IV ranks 23rd in the nation after recording a season-best time of 21.06  in the men's 200m. Lincoln finished first at the Hokie Invitational with the fastest time in the ACC this season. 

Virginia Tech's pole vault squad travels to University Park, Pa. on Jan 26 -27 to compete at the Penn State National Open.
