Lacrosse places 17 on ACC All-Academic team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia Tech lacrosse placed a program-record 17 student-athletes on the 2023 ACC All-Academic team, as announced by the league on Thursday.
 
Graduate student Lizzie Lohrer and sophomore Olivia Vergano make their second appearances on the All-Academic team, while 15 other Hokies make their debuts. The first-timers include: Kayla Frank, Sydney Golini, Sarah Gresham, Mary Griffin, Kacie Hanson, Whitney Liebler, Caroline Little, Hannah Mardiney, Lauren Render, Kayla Rinaldi, Ella Rishko, Claire Schotta, Jordan Tilley, Jocelyn Torres and Paige Tyson
 
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
