BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech swimming and diving had eight student-athletes selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams, which the organization announced on Tuesday.
From the Hokie women, Morgan Miller, Izzi Mroz, Janika Perezous and Sarah Shackelford earned the academic honor. On the men's side, Joseph Hong, Will Koeppen, Cobi Lopez Miro and Keith Myburgh were recognized.
To earn Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must carry a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and have competed at the school for a full calendar year.
Academic All-District recipients advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in late March.
