CLEARWATER, Fla. --The No. 8 Virginia Tech Hokies struggled on Saturday, falling to the No. 2 UCLA Bruins by final score of 8-4.
Sophomore Bre Peck (1-1) got the ball to start for Virginia Tech (6-2) and took the loss. Freshman Lyndsey Grein was a bright spot for the Hokies, coming out of the bullpen and throwing 5.1 innings, giving up two runs, all earned, on seven hits, with no walks and six strikeouts.
