The Hokies are returning from a successful previous month. At the beginning of December, Emma Atkinson, Caroline Bentz, AJ Pouch and Forest Webb qualified for the 2024 Olympic Trials at the U.S. Open Championships in Greensboro.

During the 2022 FINA World Swimming Championships in mid-December, Carles Coll Marti, Luis Dominguez, Mario Molla Yanes and Youssef Ramadan broke multiple national records for their home countries and took home many personal best times.

Carrying this momentum into the second part of the season, the Hokies are training hard in preparation for their upcoming meets this month.
