GREENSBORO, N.C. – After his outstanding performance this past weekend against in-state rival, UVA, Youssef Ramadan has been named ACC Swimmer of the Week.
Ramadan took multiple first place wins during the meet, helping the Hokie men beat the Cavaliers 162-138. He placed first in the 100 free with a time of 43.15 and first in the 100 fly with a time of 45.43. Ramadan's 100 fly set a pool record in Charlottesville.
Alongside teammates Mario Molla Yanes, Will Koeppen and Luis Dominguez, Ramadan's 400 free relay lead off time of 42.66 helped the relay team place first in the event.
