The seventh-ranked Virginia Tech women's basketball team will travel to Clemson for a 6 p.m. matchup on Thursday, Dec. 29 as they dive into ACC play in earnest with the non-conference portion of the schedule behind them.

THE SERIES WITH CLEMSON 
•VT is 15-13 all-time against Clemson and 13-7 in ACC play. On the road, VT is 6-6. 
•The last matchup came on March 3, 2022 in the second round of the ACC Tournament, an 82-60 victory for the Hokies. Aisha Sheppard (20), Elizabeth Kitley (19), Kayana Traylor (16) and Georgia Amoore (15) were all in double figures for Tech. 
 
A WIN WOULD…
•Move the Hokies to 2-1 in ACC play.
•Be Tech's second consecutive ACC road victory.
•Be Tech's fourth road victory of the 2022-23 season. 
 
A HISTORIC TRIP TO HIGH POINT
•In Tech's last game, Elizabeth Kitley (25), Taylor Soule (24) and Kayana Traylor (22) each recorded 20 or more points. It was the first time in program history that feat had been accomplished. 
•For Soule and Traylor, their point totals were VT career highs and season highs. 
•Kitley had seven assists in the game, marking a career-high for her.
