Hokies travel to Columbus for Ohio State Invite

BLACKSBURG – The Hokies are heading up to Columbus Nov 17-19 for the Ohio State Invitational. This three-day event will host the Hokies as well as thirteen other schools.

KEEP AN EYE OUT:

Carles Coll Marti is currently seventh in the 200 IM with a time of 1:45.70. He had a stellar performance at the FINA World Cup Championships placing fifth in the 200 IM with a time of 1:54.61 and eighth in the 100 IM with a time of 52.76. Youssef Ramadan, who also swam in the FINA World Cup, placed sixth in the 100 fly with a time of 50.51 and sixth in the 50 fly with a time of 22.63. Ramadan holds two top 15 times in the nation. He's 13th in the 100 free with a time of 43.29 and 14th in the 50 back with a time of 21.51. Coll Marti and Ramadan along with Luis Dominguez and Will Koeppen hold the seventh spot in the 400 free relay with a time of 2:53.29. 

Emma Atkinson holds the third spot in the 200 back with a time of 1:54.67. Atkinson alongside Fanni Gyurionvics, Carmen Weiler Sastre and Emily Claesson, hold the eighth spot in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:18.32.
