Hokies swim seventh fastest time in the nation

VT v. OSU Final Results

BLACKSBURG – Both the men's and women's teams fell to Ohio State 187.5-165.5 and 231.5-121.5 but the Hokies are celebrating two top times in the nation by the men and women in their 400 free relays.

"I think we had a great two days of racing," head coach Sergio Lopez Miro said. "There's still some holes in events that we want to patch up, but we did really well. The women's relay is seventh in the country, so that's awesome. The men also had some great times today and yesterday with a number seven spot as well. I'm happy with our progress. Right now, we're in a different part of the season than Ohio State since this was their first meet, but we're happy that Ohio State came to challenge the team."
