• Syracuse (8-6-2, 1-5-2): Syracuse is looking for the first win since defeating Miami 3-1 on Sept. 25. The 'Cuse have been unable to claim a victory in their last seven matches having most recently been defeated by #20 Pitt 1-0. Syracuse lost to #3 Duke 1-0, #3 North Carolina 1-0, and tied #3 Virginia 2-2.

Tech's offense will need to play strong as Shea Vanderbosch is one of the top-ranked goalkeepers in the ACC. Vanderbosch leads the conference with a saving percentage of .821, saving 64 shots on goal in 15 games allowing only 14 balls to get past her. Syracuse is ranked third in the conference in overall saves (74) and 11th in goals allowed (21), one spot above Tech with 22 goals against.

Bryan was named the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals against No. 13 Virginia in the final third. Tori Powell scored her fifth game-winning goal against No. 3 North Carolina (2-1) in the 85th minute of the match, her sixth goal of the season.
