Broadcast networks, tip times finalized for 2022-23 men’s basketball season

BLACKSBURG — Broadcast networks and tip times for Virginia Tech's upcoming 2022-23 men's basketball campaign were announced Wednesday morning.
 
Of the Hokies' 31 regular-season games, 30 will air on either ACC Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or RSN. Notably, Tech's ACC opener vs. North Carolina will tip at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 and be carried by ACC Network.
 
The 2022 ACC title game rematch between VT and Duke will go down on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. as part of ESPN's Big Monday inside Cassell Coliseum. Tech makes the return trip to Cameron Indoor on Saturday, Feb. 25 for the second meeting of the season. The game is slated for a 6 or 8 p.m. start on ESPN.
 
Finally, the Commonwealth Clash, presented by Smithfield, returns to Blacksburg on Saturday, Feb. 4 for a 12 p.m. tip on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. Tech and UVA first square off on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. in Charlottesville.
 
Earlier this week, Virginia Tech Athletics announced that full season ticket packages for the Hokies' 2022-23 campaign have sold out.
