GREENSBORO, N.C. – The ACC announced its 2022 Women's and Men's Outdoor Track All-ACC Academic Teams on Friday morning, as 14 Hokies gained recognition on the teams.
Eight women and six men from Tech earned inclusion to the academic teams, including several Hokies who have received multiple honors over their careers. For Rachel Baxter and Antonio Lopez Segura, the 2022 outdoor season marks their fourth All-ACC academic honor.
Grace Boone earns her third inclusion to the All-ACC Academic Team, while Julia Fixsen, Sara Killinen, Barbora Malíková, Rebecca Mammel, and Ben Fleming all earn their second awards after receiving the honor during the 2022 indoor season.
The 14 Hokies named to the All-ACC Academic team this season collected 12 All-ACC performances at the ACC Championships and four All-American honors at the NCAA Championships.
