BLACKSBURG – With Virginia Tech football's Spring Game, presented by PSMi, around the corner, radio analyst Mike Burnop interviewed defensive back Brion Murray for a practice report, presented by Geico, inside Beamer-Lawson Indoor Practice Facility on how the day went and how the D-Block group is making progress.
Read what the pair had to say below.
Burnop: What's it been like transitioning to more of a leadership role this spring?
Murray: Yes sir. They've been asking me to be a leader, with me being one of the oldest guys in the (cornerback) room. So I'm getting into it and am becoming more comfortable with it every day.
Burnop: Are you looking forward to the spring game?
Murray: Oh, yes. Definitely. I don't think we've had one since my first year, like in 2019. We haven't had one since, so it's going go be exciting.
