BLACKSBURG -- The Virginia Tech women's basketball team (13-4, 5-1) returns to Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum for a matchup against Pitt Thursday night.
The Hokies defeated rival Virginia Tuesday 69-52 securing 0.5 points for the Hokies in the Commonwealth Clash. Center Elizabeth Kitley tallied her seventh consecutive double-double in the game and was complimented by 17 points from Kayana Traylor and 11 from Aisha Sheppard.
Pitt last played on Sunday, their first ACC victory of the season a 65-57 victory over Wake Forest. In addition to the Demon Deacons, Pitt and the Hokies have one other mutual opponent, Radford.
