BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech's Youssef Ramadan has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, while teammate Noah Zawadzki claimed Men's Diver of the Week honors following the duo's superb showing against rival Virginia on Saturday.

Ramadan earned three first-place individual finishes and was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team in the No. 16 Hokies' 187-113 dual win over No. 17 Virginia. He won the 100 backstroke (47.58), 100 freestyle (43.23) and 100 butterfly (46.84), earning NCAA B standards in each. To finish the meet, the sophomore from Cairo, Egypt, was the leadoff to the winning 400 free relay, which finished in a time of 2:54.94.

Zawadzki won both springboard events against the Cavaliers. The senior from Greensboro, North Carolina, scored a season-best 404.55 in the 1-meter event and 374.48 in the 3-meter.

The Hokies are back in action Saturday, Jan. 22 against Penn State for Senior Day at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Events get underway at 11 a.m.
