Eight Hokies to compete in Wave II of U.S. Olympic Trials

OMAHA Eight members of the Virginia Tech swim and dive team will be competing in Wave II of the U.S. Olympic Trials this week at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

COMPETING FOR THE HOKIES
The Hokies are represented by Emma Atkinson, Caroline Bentz, Abby Larson, Blake Manoff, Keith Myburgh, AJ Pouch, Chase Travis and Forest Webb.
 
Emma Atkinson - 100 BK, 200 BK, 200 FR
Caroline Bentz - 100 BK, 200 BK, 50 FR
Abby Larson - 50 FR
Blake Manoff - 100 FL, 200 FL, 100 FR, 200 FR
Keith Myburgh - 400 IM, 200 BR

Competition is set to run June 13-20 in a prelim-final format. Prelims will begin each day at 10 a.m CT with finals at 7 p.m CT, with broadcast available through NBC. The top two athletes in each event will be granted a spot on the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team and will compete in Tokyo later this summer.
