BLACKSBURG – Six Hokies travel to Charlotte, N.C. this weekend to compete against 11 schools in the Charlotte Invitational hosted by UNC Charlotte. With under a month until the 2021 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Tech's jumps event group looks to round into postseason form.
No broadcast will be available for the meet, but live stats will be made available through Flash Results.
The traveling contingent of Hokies will be led by Assistant Coach Paul Zalewski, entering his eighth year at Virginia Tech working with the jumps and multi event groups.

At the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va., two Hokies smashed school records as Tyson Jones and Sean Murphy took the top spots on Tech's all-time list in the shot put and decathlon. Eszter Bajnok won the triple jump competition in her season debut, leaping a distance of 43' 11.25" (13.39m).
