BLACKSBURG – With no midweek game this week, the No. 15/13 Virginia Tech softball team will play host to Notre Dame in a four-game series at Tech Softball Park this weekend on ACC Network Extra and ESPNU.
The Fighting Irish won the last time out against the Hokies, winning the series 2-1 in Blacksburg in 2018. Notre Dame leads the all-time series versus the Hokies 25-7 and has won 14 of the last 15 contests, dating back to 2014.
The Hokies are 3-8 at Tech Softball Park against Notre Dame. Tech coach Pete D'Amour has never faced Notre Dame in his head coaching career.

LAST TIME OUT
A no-hitter by pitcher Keely Rochard and five home runs at the plate led the Hokies to a 12-0 run-rule victory over Georgia Tech in five innings on Sunday at Tech Softball Park. Of the five home runs, each was hit by a different player, while Rochard threw her sixth no-hitter and her first of the season. Second baseman Addy Greene and third baseman Kelsey Bennett both had a team-high three RBIs, with each going deep Sunday.
WHO TO WATCH
Coming off a no-hitter on Sunday against Georgia Tech, pitcher Keely Rochard is on her A-game. She has only faced Notre Dame once previously in her career. (More on page 3)
Batting .600 in the Georgia Tech series, second baseman Addy Greene is on a tear. The freshman slugged an incredible 1.400 with six RBIs, two home runs and a triple.
