BLACKSBURG – After a record-breaking performance in Sunday's win over NC State, Virginia Tech softball return to Tech Softball Park for the first time in almost two years to play Radford in a doubleheader Wednesday.
 
The No. 18/16 Hokies (10-3, 7-3 ACC) and the Highlanders (6-8, 0-0 Big South) will play at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., both games can be seen on the ACC Network Extra. Tech is coming off a 3-1 series win over the Wolfpack this past weekend and have not lost a series on the year.
 
The current capacity of Tech Softball Park is 300. After accounting for the families/guests of student-athletes and coaches for each team, approximately 150 spectators will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. Please see the Policies and Procedures link for more information.

Kelsey Bennett set a new school record Sunday, blasting three home runs in Tech's 17-4 win, in which the team also set a school record for home runs in a game with eight. The sophomore now leads the team with five home runs on the season after tying for the team lead last season with seven in 25 games.
 
Junior pitcher Keely Rochard (8-1) picked up three more wins over the weekend, throwing three complete games. The Williamsburg, Virginia native has now thrown a complete game in all eight of her wins, tossing 55.0 innings this season.

Radford is currently on a four-game win streak but are scheduled to play a doubleheader Tuesday vs. East Tennessee State. The Highlanders went 13-3 last season before the season was shut down.
