BLACKSBURG -- The No. 14/16 Virginia Tech swim and dive team is set to host the Virginia Tech Invitational this upcoming weekend where they will take on No. 6/6 NC State. Competition will begin Friday at 10 a.m. and will go until Sunday evening.

IN THE RANKINGS
The Tech men's squad is ranked 16th and women's squad is ranked 14th in the current CSCAA TYR Top-25 poll. The Wolfpack men's and women's squad are both ranked 6th.
HISTORY
The Hokies and Wolfpack faced off last weekend in Raleigh with the 'Pack coming out on top in both the men's and women's sections. The Hokies swept in the men's and women's diving sections claiming first in all four events.
LAST TIME OUT
Hokie Men
Against NC State, freshman Carles Coll Marti was dominant and claimed first place in both the 200 breast (54.65) and 200 IM (1:46.88). Coll Marti also placed second in the 100 breast and contributed to a second place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:25.03).
Blake Manoff ran the men's freestyle placing first in both the 100 (43.64) and 200 free (1:35.92). Manoff also placed third in the 100 fly (47.33). Youssef Ramadan placed first in the 100 fly (47.09) and second 50 free (20.29).
Hokie Women
Against NC State, Emma Atkinson placed second in both the 100 (54.45) and 200 back (1:56.77). Atkinson also contributed to the third place finish in the 200 free relay alongside Sarah Shackelford, Anna Landon and Abby Larson (1:34.20).
Freshman Chase Travis dominated the long distance against the Wolfpack, finding first in both the 1000 and 500 free. Brooke Travis was just behind her placing second in both events.
