TAMPA – One week after earning the XFL's "Star of the Week" award, WR Cam Phillips turned in an even bigger performance at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, hauling in eight passes for 194 yards with three TDs as the Houston Roughnecks became the league's only 3-0 squad. Thanks to a second consecutive three-TD effort, Phillips led Houston to a 34-27 victory at Tampa Bay. That trifecta of scores included a season-long 84-yard TD pass from QB P.J. Walker
Virginia Tech's all-time leading receiver currently leads the XFL with 20 receptions for 324 yards and seven touchdowns after three games. Houston travels to Dallas on Sunday to face head coach Bob Stoops and the 2-1 Dallas Renegades at 4 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast by FS1.
