BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech wrestling is set to face a slew of teams that placed in the top 25 at the NCAA Championships last season as the Hokies have unveiled their opponents for the 2019-20 season.
The home schedule is highlighted by duals against Missouri, Northwestern, West Virginia and North Carolina. On the road, Tech will most notably face Ohio State, Cornell and NC State. Exact dates and times for all matches will be announced at a later date.

Last season, the Hokies placed in the top 11 at the NCAA Championships for the eighth-consecutive year. The Hokies return two All-Americans from last year's squad in David McFadden and national champion Mekhi Lewis. Tech's incoming freshman class is made up of multiple top 100 prospects and has been ranked as a consensus top-five class according to FloWrestling, Intermat and The Open Mat.
