WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Virginia Tech men's basketball team will take on the Duke Blue Devils in the Sweet 16 of the 2019 NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 29. The game, to be played at the Capital One Area in Washington, D.C. at 9:39 p.m. ET, will be broadcast by CBS. The Hokies are the fourth seed in the East Region, while the Blue Devils are the overall No. 1 seed. The winner of the game will advance to the Elite Eight of the East Regional in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, taking on the winner of the No. 2 Michigan State-No. 3 LSU contest.

its third consecutive NCAA Tournament bid, the Hokies also received word that senior point guard, Justin Robinson, had been cleared by the medical staff to return to action ... Robinson had missed the last 12 games with a left foot injury ... The school's all-time leader in assists, Robinson played more than 27 minutes in the win over Saint Louis and scored 13 points in the win over Liberty in 29 minutes of play.

With the Hokies' win over Liberty on Sunday night, Buzz Williams earned his 100th win as the head coach of the Hokies ... That's fifth on the all-time list and one win shy of tying Bill Foster for fourth on the list.
