BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech softball coach Pete D'Amour has announced that the Hokies will head to Charleston Southern's campus this weekend, playing at the Wingate by Wyndham Invitational.
The four-team tournament, made up of host Charleston Southern, Detroit Mercy, East Tennessee State and Virginia Tech, will begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday.
[RV] Tech (5-0) will play on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET versus Detroit Mercy (3-2) and at 2:30 p.m. against Charleston Southern (3-4). The Hokies will face ETSU (2-0-2) at 1 p.m. and finish with Charleston Southern at 3:15 p.m., wrapping up the four-game slate.

Earlier this week, shortstop Caitlyn Nolan was named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA DI National Player of the Week, as well as the ACC Player of the Week for her standout play at the Cougar Classic. Pitcher Keely Rochard was tabbed ACC Co-Pitcher of the Week.
