Hokies close out 2018 hosting Maryland Eastern Shore

BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech men's basketball team continues the Holiday home stand at the Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum on Friday night, as it hosts the Hawks from Maryland Eastern Shore. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. and will be shown on ACC Network Extra.

In the win over Washington, Justin Robinson became just the fourth Virginia Tech men's basketball player to record 500 career assists and 1,200 career points … He now joins Bimbo Coles, Malcolm Delaney and Jamon Gordon on that list … Robinson is just seven assists behind Gordon for third place in career assists at Virginia Tech.

Virginia Tech guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been named to the Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List … Alexander-Walker is one of 20 players on the list and one of five ACC players on the watch list … The trophy is given annually by the USBWA to the nation's top player.
